Monday Things

This morning I ran 7 miles and then this afternoon I mowed the lawn. Keeping busy out there.

Things Are Different

It's a new week with a new month arriving tomorrow. All of Summer's issues are gone. The leaves are changing color and falling on the ground. You can taste Autumn in the air. Things are different.

Weekend Of Friends

The great thing about this weekend was seeing many of my dear friends. There were some who I planned on seeing and then there were others who happened to be out where I was. So glad to see them all.

I Don' Know

This morning I'm in Albany, New York visiting friends. These are my close friends and it's great to see them. I've been telling people about the idea of moving back up here. I just don't know what I'm going to do. I'll have figure it out.

Upstate

I'll be heading up north this weekend. That's where I'm moving. I need to get an apartment. I'll also visit friends. Busy time.

Back From Amsterdam

Back in the United States after a week in The Netherlands. I do love Amsterdam! Met some very interesting people there and I can't wait to go back again. There are so many things I have to do. I'm moving next month and the New York City Marathon is several week away. That will keep me busy.

Still Here

I've been in Amsterdam for the past week and I do love it here. I'm having fun.

Busy Not Blogging

I've been In Amsterdam a few days now and it's always an amazing time. I won't get into much because I just don't feel like it. That says it all.

In Amsterdam

I'm in Amsterdam and having a great time. I love this city and to say I had a full day yesterday would be an understatement. The overnight flight gave me no sleep and my hotel room wasn't ready when I arrived. So I jumped right in and start around de stad. I did get a good night's sleep so I'm ready for today.  Tot ziens.

At The Airport

I'm at Newark Airport and my flight takes off in 3 hours. Next stop Amsterdam.

On My Way

I'm leaving for Amsterdam today. Unlike my trip there back in February, my plan is to blog. I hope to drop in and let you know how things are going. The journey begins. Tot ziens vrienden.

Ready To Go

Went out and ran 7 miles this morning. I spent the afternoon doing an abstract painting. I'm packed and ready to go for my trip to Amsterdam tomorrow. It's all I think about.

Sunday Stuff

This is the last calendar weekend of Summer. You know the season is changing when it's past 5:30 AM and there's no sunrise at all. I would like to get a run in this morning. It would be great to do a painting too. Tomorrow I leave for my trip to Amsterdam and doing artwork is on my agenda. I get plenty of creative inspiration there.

Ready To Sleep

I would like to fall asleep now. My day is over and I'm lying in bed typing this blog. Goodnight people.

Pretty Much Set

Did all the shopping I needed to do for my trip to The Netherlands. I'll be leaving on Monday. I can't wait to go.

Travel Time

On Monday I leave for a trip to Amsterdam. I was there back in February and this time the weather should be warm enough to ride a bike. People do ride in the Winter but it was too cold for me. There are plenty of places there to rent. Ik rij de fiets.

Over & Beginning

I'm going to be doing a lot things over the next few weeks. I've got this weekend coming up where I'll organize for my trip to Amsterdam. That's a good place to start.

Still Summer

Another blast of Summer heat & humidity is out there. This won't last long though. The Autumn type breeze is supposed to return by the weekend.

Full Work Day

Yesterday I worked 8 hours at the front desk and mowed the lawn for 3 hours. A productive work day indeed.

Few More Days

I have 3 more days of working at the hotel. I do have tomorrow off and it looks like the good weather is sticking around.

Feeling Fall

Just by watching TV, it feels like the end of Summer. I can tell by watching the sporting events that are on. The NFL is underway and the US Open is winding down. It must be September.

Last Sunday

This is the last Sunday I'll be working at the hotel. I've worked almost every Sunday for the past year. The exception was when I took a vacation over the Winter. It doesn't matter what hotel I've worked at, the morning shift on a Sunday was always mine.

Bad Yankees

The New York Yankees have lost 2 games in a row in heartbreaking style. They play again this afternoon. I wonder if they'll find another creative way to loss?

I Can't Wait

In 10 days I take a trip to Amsterdam. I can't wait!

Must Paint

I'm off from work today so it would be great of me to do some painting. An abstract is in order.

1 More Week

I have just a week of work left at the hotel and I'm done there. The last couple of days were quiet. That will change this weekend since they are sold out. I don't have to work tomorrow which is great. I couldn't stand working there on a Friday. I won't miss the place after I'm done.

Manhattan Plan

I work tonight and my plan is to go to Manhattan tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be nice and I don't have to work until Thursday afternoon. Sounds like fun to me.

In 10 more days I finish my job at the hotel and in 14 more days I board a plane for a trip to Amsterdam. These are 2 things to look forward to.

Back On Track

Went out and ran 7 miles this morning. I feel like all the aches & pains from the marathon last week are all healed. Now all the focus is on the New York City Marathon. I'm back on track.

Why I'm Leaving

I worked an 11-Hour shift yesterday because the person who was suppose to relieve me from my post didn't come in. They decided to go to they're other job. That's a great example of why I'm leaving this place. When someone can get away with doing that is just wrong. They would be fired if I were in charge.
