Mohawk Hudson River Marathon

I'm officially registered for the 2014 Mohawk Hudson River Marathon. This race will take place in October. The last time I ran in it was 9 years ago. It starts in Schenectady and ends in Albany. This is the Capital District of New York State. The marathon goes along both the Mohawk & Hudson Rivers. It is a flat & fast course which makes it a favorite for those who are trying to qualify for the Boston Marathon. I'm back in the race.

It Doesn't Stop

The bitter & cold weather continues on. It's in the single digits for the temperature again. I've had enough of it. Cabin Fever has set in. I need to be on a tropical island.

After Midnight Tonight

It's been a long day. I'm surprised to still be awake. I am though so it goes on. Goodnight. 

Not Getting Hit

It looked as if earlier in the weekend we could get walloped by another snow storm. That's not going to happen. I'll take this as a good sign that the weather might be taking a turn for the better. It's even supposed to warm up later in the week. I'm ready for that. 

Family & Friends

I have both. I'm lucky that way. 

Make A Sunday Run

Wasn't sure if I was going to go out and run but I'm going to. Still haven't increased my distance per week like I want to. Today will go a long way to doing that. I'll blame it on Winter.
