Clear

Had the last 3 days off and it was cloudy. It finally cleared up this afternoon and  the sun is out. Just in time for the night. 

Cut It Short

Went out for a long training run this morning but only ran half of it. The wind & rain were really strong. I started out at 3AM and the weather conditions were quite bad. The Hudson River is at hide tide and looked imposing running along it. I'm disappointed not to run the 3 hours I wanted to. I'll need to make it up. 

Mark Andrew Reisman

Mark Andrew Reisman (1956-2015) was an actor and poet. He died of a massive heart attack. It's hard to believe the last time I saw him was a quarter of a century ago. Keep living and the time flies by. We spent a great deal of time together in the 1980's. A political Dark Age as far as we were concerned. Yet the focus was on the creative process. That was always the most important thing. His first love was acting and I had heard he had gone out to Chicago  and work there. He turned me on to jack Keroac and inspired me to write. That I will always be grateful for. The Alibi Kid splits and looking for perfection over there.

Since I did a double shift over the weekend, I'm getting 3 days off from work. There are a bunch of things I need to do. October is here.
