5 String Bass

So I've been window shopping for a new bass guitar and my hope was to get a Rickenbacker. This is the premiere name in bass guitars. I'm left-handed and it has been impossible to find one that 's new. I would have to go directly to the manufacturer and ask them to custom make one. It would probably cost me over $2,000. Now I'm thinking about getting a bass that has 5 strings on it. I haven't played one but I have seen them in the stores. They do have have them left-handed. Trying to find the right bass.

Goodbye July

This is the last day of July and we are in the middle of what is called, "The dog days of Summer." I really don't know what that means. I guess it has something to do with heat & siestas. We now move from one month with 31 days to another. The weather where I am is great. Usually the Summer months fly by. That hasn't happened for me this season. I'm taking it all in.

Spray Stars

I just finished running my weekday route and ran it in a time of 1:15:04. That's the fastest I've ever run it. I feel like my training is going good. Now I have to go to the dentist and get a crown put in. That should be fun.

Nap

After coming home from work and having a snack, I ended up falling asleep. Now I'm wide awake. Goodnight people of the blog.

The Crown

Tomorrow I go to the dentist and get the crown put into my mouth. I had work done on it a month ago and a temporary one was put in. It fell out so my tooth is exposed to all kinds of heat & cold. I hope it isn't as painful a process as the last time.
