New Bass Guitar

I'm interested in getting a new bass guitar. A 5-String bass has caught my interest. It seems like there could be great possibilities with it. Especially when it comes to composing. However, I did see a left-handed Rickenbacker at the store last week and I've been looking for one for quite some time now. It's much more expensive the other bass. I'll have to think it over.
