Last day in the month of July. Time to get ready for August. 

At The Mall

Waiting for the stores at the mall to open up. I'm doing a quick shop this morning.

Went out and ran 18 miles this morning. My first marathon of the year is 4 weeks away. I felt steady out there. I'll keep pushing it.

It's my plan to go to a poetry reading tonight. I might read something.

4 More Weeks

4 weeks from today I run in the Self-Transcendence Marathon. I've been training for this race since Springtime. I had a good 4-Mile run this morning. Keep truckin' on.

End Of Day

It's the end if the day. Got home from work after midnight and I'm not far from finishing this day. 

Sunday Clouds

Cloudy out there this morning. I would like to get out and run today. I work tonight and then have the next couple of days off. That's how it goes. 

Weekend Work

I work at the hotel today & tomorrow. I'm off Monday & Tuesday. The plan is to stay close to home this week.

Flushing

Took a ride out to Flushing in Queens with Grace today. We went shopping and had dinner. I love spending time with her.

At Grace's

I'm at Grace's apartment and she's making me dinner. I'm so happy!

All So Fast

I go into work at 2PM today. After work, I'll drive downstate and visit family. Lots of moving around. 

Blues Night

Nick & I are going to Pauly's for Blues Night. I've practiced a few songs for tonight. We'll see what happens.

On With It

Done with Saturday work. Not as hectic as Friday. I work the Sunday Shift. Goodnight.

Work Stuff

Just finished work and I was busy. The hotel is booked tonight and tomorrow. Back at it then. Goodnight.

The Time Off

I go back to work today. No running this morning since I did The long training run yesterday. Time to be lazy.

Nitty Gritty Slam

Finished 4th at The Slam tonight. I advanced to the 2nd round for the 1st time ever. I debut WONDER BREAD RAP and finished with WOE OF MAN. Slam dancing the words.

18 miles

Went out there and ran 18 miles today. It was good to do. I have my first marathon of the year next month, so it's essential I get the proper training in. This is the process. 

Long Distance Run

Tomorrow I go for a long distance run. I'll be out there for a good 3 hours. Had pasta meal so now I rest. Goodnight.

I'm Off

I'm off from work today and tomorrow. I saw my parents yesterday. Nick & I went out to lunch with them. We all had a great time. So happy to see them. I plan on shopping today and then tomorrow I want to do a long training run. My first marathon of the year is next month. I'll try to make it an easy Monday. 

Mom & Dad

My parents are coming up to visit me this morning. We will go out to brunch. I wait for them now. 

Jones Beach

Grace & I went to Jones Beach for a couple of days. I had a great time with her. The weather was fantastic and it was fun to be on the beach. This place is located on Long Island where the Atlantic Ocean comes crashing in. The mighty waves.

So much for the streak of successful and productive days in a row. Yesterday was brutal. I'm still trying to recover from it.

12PM

I go into work at noontime today. The hotel is shorthanded with some of the employees on Summer Vacation. I'll be putting in long hours today. 

Back To Work

I work the next 5 days. It will be busy. It's always busy. 

A Great Night

It was one of the best nights I've ever had in the way of live performances. First, I did Spoken Word of THE FRONT DESK at McGeary's. Second, I went over to Pauly's and played NEVER BEEN TO SPAIN & BLUE SUEDE SHUES. It was a great night!
