New Years Eve

2015 was quite a year for me. Moved to a new state and got a new job. My relationship is going great and the creative energy keeps flowing. Also ran a marathon in Philadelphia. The year in review.

When I lived in Spencertown, New York, so did Ellsworth Kelly. He was a great artist who had a big influence on me.

Holiday Weekend

Grace & I visited my family this Holiday Weekend. Now we're back home.

Sore Eye

My left eye has been sore for the last 2 days. I felt it just as I went to bed Friday. I just want to be healthy. 

At The Gramercy

I'm at the Gramercy Park Hotel. It's taking a lot longer for this meeting to start then I wanted to. 

Gramercy Park Hotel

Grace & I will be stopping by the Gramercy Park Hotel today. This is a place I've always wanted to visit. It was designed in 2007 by Ian Schrager & Julian Schnabel. We will be there about a new hotel opening up in SoHo called 11 Howard. I'm looking forward to it.

Day Off Work

Lots to do today. After breakfast I'll go for a run. Later today I meet with people who are fixing the building I live in. Before this day ends I have to finish paperwork connected to my professional life. It's a busy day off.

New Hat

I bought a new hat from New York Road Runners. It's a New York City Marathon training cap from 2015. I purchased it online and just had it delivered. Since I ran the 18-Mile Tune Up race this year, I thought it would be great to have for running races next year. One race I won't be running in 2016 will be the NYC Half Marathon. I didn't get accepted. The good thing is that I didn't spend the $117 it would cost to run in the race. We'll see about 2017.

The Hump

Today is my Hump Day. I go in this afternoon. It's been busy. My days off this week will be busy too.

I need a pencil near me. I've been drawing every single day. I need still lifes & landscapes in my 2016 collection.

Back At It

I need to get a run in today. I've not been training much. The weather looks great over the next few days so it will be good to go back out there.

Big Blues

The New York Football Giant lost to the New York Football Jets in overtime today. Big Blues for Big Blue. That makes 3 straight brutal loses in a row. It's been that kind of year.

My Friday

I rested for the most part today. I did work on a song for Grace. That effects pedal for my bass is great! We went to a Turkish Restaurant in Union City. I also donated some clothes and returned mail to the Post Office that wasn't mine. That was my Friday.

1 More Day

I work tonight and then I'll have a couple of days off. This afternoon I'm making Italian Noodles for Grace. This morning I ran 5 miles. All in a day.

2 More Days

I have 2 more days of work and then a couple of days off. I've been going straight through since last Tuesday. Keep on working. 

Off To Manhattan

Before I go to work this afternoon, I'll be going to Manhattan this morning. The weather is pretty lousy so there won't be a lot of walking. Not much time for anything other than my schedule demands. I'm looking forward to Friday.
