Memorial Day Rain

Most Memorial Days I've experienced have been rainy ones. It's Like Heaven sheds tears. 

Feels Like Summer

It's very warm outside and I like it!

Back To Running

Last week I went to the podiatrist about my heel pain on my left foot. The doctor said it was my tendon called the plantor fasciitis needed to to be stretched and so I went about doing that. A week later I'm feeling much better. I've run the last few days in a row including an 11-Mile run this morning. It feels good to out there again.

Migraine

Woke up in the middle of the night with a migraine headache. Took some aspirin and ate some cereal. I go to work in a few hours. 

Before The Alarm

Woke up just before the alarm sounded. Time to get ready for work.

3 working days under my feet. I'm working morning shifts all this week. Set the alarm for tomorrow.

This is a new week for me so my plan is to do different things.

The Podiatrist

I went to the podiatrist for the first time this morning. I've been having heel pain on my left foot. The doctor said that my plantar fasciitis was swollen and I need to do proper stretching for treatment. That I will do.

Busy Schedule

I have a busy schedule today. Here we go.

Spaghetti

I'll be making spaghetti for lunch. It's usually a Thursday meal but I won't be home tomorrow.

The Pause Button

I feel like the pause button is on even though I'm on auto pilot for other things.

No More Sleep

It's 4AM and I have to start getting ready for work. Good morning people.

Work Blues

Really didn't have the patience with some people I find annoying at work today. My coworkers are fine and they are the best group I've ever worked with. I wasn't feeling the love from some of the customers. Oh well. 

Whether Or Not

The weather has started out nice this morning. The forecast has rain this afternoon. Whether or not.

Late Scratch

Tomorrow I won't be running in the Healthy Kidney 10K race in New York City because my left foot is sore. My back heel hurts when I step down on it. My left ankle is swelled up and I need to have a podiatrist look at it. This is the first time in all the years I've been running where I'm now on the injury list. I need to get it checked out.

I work 2 more nights and then get the next couple of days off after that. I have a 10K race on Saturday too.

Played my Rickenbacker bass guitar through my amp tonight and it sounded great!

Try To Balance

Things go from one side to the other. 

AFC Ajax

AFC Ajax didn't win the Eredivisie League Championship today. If they won their game today, they would have taken the title. In fact, Ajax had the lead at Halftime, but they gave up a goal in the 2nd Half and didn't score again. Meanwhile, PSV did win their game and captured the League Championship. It was a heartbreaking way for Ajax to lose the title. So close and they controlled their own destiny. Don't celebrate until the game is over. 

Back Home

Grace & I are back home after going away yesterday. Back to work tomorrow.

Mom & Dad

Grace & I will be visiting mom & dad today for birthday & Mother's Day celebrations. We'll do it indoors due to the rainy weather. That's OK.

My Rickenbacker Bass

Big music day yesterday. Before I went to the concert of The Threws and The Last Conspirators, I went to Sam Ash Music Store and bought a lefty Rickenbacker Bass Guitar. It was old to me by Larrry Hartke of Hartke Amplifiers fame. What a great person. I've wanted this bass for so many years. They are rare to find and I'm so glad to have it. I look forward playing it.

Last Cons

Going to see the Last Cons tonight. The Albany gang is heading into Manhattan. Should be a blast.

1st Of May

Starting the new month off with work and play. My way to begin the 1st of May.
