The Trip

Amsterdam is my favorite city in the world. I've made a few trips here this year and I'm always happy to be back. It may not be for everyone, but it fits me well. My Dutch is getting better too. I like speaking it to the local merchants. I understand it better when spoken back to me now. Great cities have an energy to them and Amsterdam has it. New York City has it too. These two cities have a historic connection. It's pretty amazing to witness and be part of it. "Het is mijn onze dingen."
